LLocated between the Central Market and the Riverfront, Sharky has witnessed Phnom Penh go through changes beyond anyones wildest dreams. Long before the Lonely Planet gave Cambodia its stamp of approval, Sharky was established in 1995. Rocket, and gunfire were the norm and as the violence rocked the city, we rolled on through. 1997 saw the coup and we rolled on through. SARS and The Thai Riots though a heavy blow on the tourist arrivals, were just small blips compared to the earlier days.

Sharky is the longest running Rock and Roll Bar in South East Asia and the number one bar in Cambodia. WE got that way because Sharky stays on the cutting edge, bringing in new talent, and new ideas while staying true its concept and it's customers. Our relaxed atmosphere; great Mexican, Thai and Western food; extensive selection of Rock music, and friendly attentive service is that combination which continues to satisfy everyone from our local sweethearts, tourists, ex-pats, to old Asia hands alike.

As Cambodia develops, we have been able to expand and deliver our product as well. Ideas and events that would work in a bar in the west or Thailand, wouldn't always work in Cambodia. Haloween for example wasn't something a country recovering from a holocaust could endure until recently, and 2008 we pulled off the best Haloween party this country has ever seen.

Located upstairs on the first floor above street level Sharky's boasts a large space, huge center bar, outside balcony, and plenty of seating, and a special event room for dancing, birthdays, and private parties.
